Electrical Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Kettering
Our Kettering, Northamptonshire based client is looking to extend their Estate/Maintenance team by recruiting an Electrical Building Maintenance Technician, on a permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday 09.00 till 15.00hrs, with the need to complete extra hours when required with no notice period, as well as needing to attend out of hours call outs.
The successful Electrical Building Maintenance Technician will demonstrate the ability to the maintenance of the site, and equipment. Overseeing and carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance to the Lighting and Fire alarm Systems, Electrical Testing (P.A.T) , heating exchanges, water treatments, motors and switchgears. As well as assisting Site Assistants with general maintenance, as in preparing function rooms. Ground maintenance, handyperson duties including painting, and minor wood work. Deputising for the Estate Manager.
The successful Electrical Building Maintenance Technician will demonstrate experience in a similar Maintenance role, with an Electrical bias/qualification. Show the ability to prioritise work loads, good delegation and communicational skills. As an individual have a very proactive and positive attitude. Be able to complete audit paperwork and have at least some PC skills. Flexible approach to working is essential, own transport would be beneficial.

Events Administrator

Our client based in Corby, Northamptonshire is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, and methodical and experienced Events Administrator, to join their organisation on a temporary assignment (at least a two month period).
The successful person will need to demonstrate the ability to provide excellent administration support to the Events Department. Duties will include maintaining records and guest correspondence for Programmes and Venues, logging and passing invoices. General administration duties including filing, photocopying and data entry. Liaising Booking Agreements. Attending events, welcoming guests and co-ordinating audio visuals, as well as distributing literature.
They will also need to demonstrate the experience within a similar Events role and be an extremley customer focused individual. They must also possess strong Administration skills, with the ability to work in a methodical manner, with a good eye for detail, with good time management skills. Good PC skills, Work, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong telephone/communicational skills. Must be willing to travel around the UK to attend events, with the occasional overnight stay, working outside normal working hours is also essential.
