Win For Saints
Despite the bad weather Northampton Saints game in the LV Cup against Wasps went ahead at Franklins Gardens yesterday thanks to underground heating below the pitch.
The game ended 57-10 to the Saints.

Game Off!
Corby Town`s game against Long Buckby in the Northants Senior Cup was postponed last night because of a frozen pitch at Steel Park.
Another date will be arranged.

Saints Player In England Squad
Northampton Saints Calum Clark will be among the England squad for the six nations opener against Scotland on Saturday.

Transfer Deadline Day Latest
As the 11pm transfer deadline approaches, Northampton Town winger Michael Jacobs has been linked to Championship side Blackpool.
No official bid's been made though.
And it looks like former Cobblers striker Steve Howard WON'T be rejoining the Cobblers.
The Leicester player had been linked with a return to the club.
